Library cat
I thought Trim was famous until I found Emma the Lyme Library Cat. She even has her own email address and sends out email newsletter periodically. How about that?
Interested in sending her an email or signing up for her newsletter, go to http://www.lymepl.org/cat.htm.

State Reference Library Reading Room
Most photos of the State Library on Flickr are nice. I hope there are more photos of the State Reference Library Reading Room though.
TeenScene@WPL
I quite like the TeenScene@WPL blog of the Westerville Public Library

Co-creation - enriching the content
Another good example of co-creation:
'Library of Congress taps Web 2.0 to gain user expertise on photos: pilot project with Flickr will leverage users to gather details about library's collection', by Heather Havenstein, Computerworld http://www.computerworld.com/action/article.do?command=viewArticleBasic&articleId=9057679

Reflections on Web 2.0
There have been heaps of discussions on Web 2.0.
As a cultural institution, I found the report produced by Dr Michael Middleton worth a read.
The report is 'Cultural institutions and web 2.0' November 2007. You can find this report at http://eprints.qut.edu.au/archive/00010808/
Another other article 'Web 2.0 can be dangerous' http://www.useit.com/alertbox/web-2.html written by usability guru Jakob Nielsen also worth a read. Happy reading folks.
